The Firm acted as the Lenders’ Legal Counsel to a consortium of lenders led by IndusInd Bank Limited for the financial assistance of upto INR 2410 Million to Today Green Energy Private Limited (“Borrower”), for the purpose of full repayment of existing indebtedness of the Borrower including any incidental expenses, meeting cash flow requirement of new solar projects of the Borrower and adding the additional capacity of 7.5 MW DC to its already commissioned 50 MWAC solar PV project at Village That, Tehsil Pokhran, District Jaisalmer in the State of Rajasthan. IndusInd Bank Ltd. has sanctioned a term loan to Today Green Energy Private Limited for the purpose of full repayment of existing indebtedness of the Borrower including any incidental expenses, for meeting the cash flow requirement of new solar projects of the Borrower and adding the additional capacity of 7.5 MW DC to its already commissioned Project. The Firm’s scope of work included conducting due diligence of the Borrower, its promoters and project documents, drafting of the financing and security documents, conducting title verification exercise pertaining to the land measuring approximately 175 hectares situated at Village That, Tehsil Pokhran, District Jaisalmer in the State of Rajasthan and issuing opinion on the legal issues.
