The firm advised L&T Infrastructure Finance Company Limited in relation to the financial assistance of approximately INR 1080 million sanctioned by it to Dewas Water Projects Works Pvt. Ltd. (A Welspun Group entity) for its water supply scheme for 23 MLD in Madhya Pradesh. L&T Infrastructure Finance Company Limited has sanctioned a term loan to Dewas Water Projects Works Private Limited for implementing, designing and operating water supply scheme for 23 MLD in Madhya Pradesh. The scope of work included drafting of financing and security documents, conducting due diligence on the borrower, its promoters and project documents, title verification of the project land and other immovable securities and issuing opinions on the legal issues. L&T Infrastructure Finance is backed by L&T Financial Services which provides business loans for large-scale infrastructure projects in India.
