S.Jalan & Company represented Simplex Infrastructures Limited in the Calcutta High Court and ultimately in the Supreme Court of India in successfully defending an application under Section 34 of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 filed by the Central PWD, Government of India against an award of INR 199,396,710 passed in favour of Simplex Infrastructures Limited. C.A. Sundaram, Senior Advocate represented the company in the Supreme Court of India under instructions of Sourav Ghosh and Samrat Sengupta, Partners of S. Jalan & Company before the Bench of Hon’ble Justices D.Y. Chandrachud and Vineet Saran which dismissed the challenge to the award made by CPWD.
