Khaitan & co. advised Oneil Capital Management India Private Limited in relation to setting up of an open-ended Category III alternative investment fund (“AIF”), namely O’Neil Quant Fund (“Fund”) that proposes to operate as a quant fund using algorithmic trading strategies for investing in the Indian stock markets. Firm also provided to the Client in relation to the initial structure of the sponsor and investment manager entities as well as the fund structure.
