Khaitan & Co. Advised Aadhar Housing Finance Limited (Company) and Wadhawan Global Capital Limited, Dewan Housing Finance Limited, Kapil Wadhawan, Dheeraj Wadhawan and Aruna Wadhawan (Sellers) in relation to sale of 80.76% of share capital of Company held by Sellers to BCP Topco VII Pte Ltd (Investor), which is controlled by private equity funds managed by Blackstone followed by preferential allotment of equity shares of the Company to the Investor.

The role of the firm was to conduct vendor due diligence on the Company and advising the Sellers and the Company on sale of the shares, in a competitive bid process.
